Our Adolescence Class helps puppies aged approx. 5 months to 12 months navigate their ‘teen’ stage with confidence. We focus on recall, impulse control, calm walking, and social skills, while guiding owners through the challenges of this exciting but testing period.

How to build a strong, positive bond with your puppy

Build Better Manners: Strengthen obedience Skills

Tackle Teenage Behaviours: Address common adolescent challenges like jumping, pulling, selective hearing, and impulse control.

Focus & Engagement: Teach your dog to pay attention even around distractions.

Polite Greetings: Reduce excitement and improve calm behaviour around visitors and strangers.

Fun and ethical training methods are used to shape your dog's behaviour positively, using Force Free Training.

Does Ruskies Dog Training have qualifications?

Yes, Laura takes her academic and practical training very serious. She has completed many courses including a Level 5 in Dog Training and Behaviour. Laura is also currently working towards being a clinical behaviourist.

What areas do you cover?

Ruskies Dog Training offers group classes in the Beverley, Ellerker and Brough areas. One-to-one sessions are available in South Cave and surrounding areas, with travel options available upon request.
