1. Acceptance of Terms

By (a) enrolling a dog with, (b) permitting a dog to attend, or (c) accepting the services of RUSKIES DOG TRAINING and its team, the Client is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Offered

RUSKIES DOG TRAINING provides a range of dog services including (but not limited to):

Group and 1:1 training sessions

Behaviour consultations

Training walks

Daytime and overnight board & train programmes

Dog walking

3. Website Use

(a) The Website is intended for individuals aged 18 or over.
(b) You agree not to misuse the Website, infringe intellectual property, or engage in unlawful activity.

4. Venues

Training fields and venues are private property and not owned by RUSKIES DOG TRAINING. Clients must follow venue rules.

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and knowing how to access the venue.

Cars are parked at the owner’s risk. We accept no responsibility for theft or damage.

5. Training Sessions, Classes & Walks

Sessions last between 30–60 minutes depending on the service. Quality of training takes priority over strict timing.

Photographs and videos may be taken for progress records, education, and marketing (website, online academy, social media). Clients must notify us in writing if they do not consent.

Training results are not guaranteed; outcomes depend on the dog’s behaviour, breed, history, and client commitment.

Clients must bring high-value treats and toys, and ensure their dog wears suitable equipment including a collar with ID tags.

Dogs must remain on lead unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.

Children may attend classes with prior agreement but must be supervised at all times and not disrupt sessions.

6. Board & Train (Daytime & Overnight)

All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, worming, and flea/tick treatments. Proof may be required.

Owners must disclose any health or behavioural issues. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate board and train if a dog poses a risk.

Dogs will receive structured training, rest, enrichment, and exercise appropriate to their needs. Results are not guaranteed. Training requires continued practice at home.

Drop-off and collection times must be agreed in advance. Late collections may incur additional fees.

Owners must provide sufficient food, medication, and clear instructions. If not provided, we may purchase supplies at the owner’s expense.

Personal belongings (toys, bedding, leads, etc.) are left at the owner’s risk and will not be replaced if lost or damaged.

In case of illness, stress, or unsafe behaviour, we may terminate the stay early and request immediate collection. Refunds will be at our discretion.

In case of illness or injury, veterinary care may be sought at our discretion. Clients are responsible for all veterinary costs.

Full payment is required prior to the dog’s stay. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable.

7. Content & Materials

We reserve the right to change the content, timing, dates, or venues of sessions if required (e.g., due to weather).

8. Training Policy

Enrolling a dog constitutes acceptance of our Training Policy. Breaches may result in termination of services without refund.

Clients agree to check in and update progress when requested. Failure to do so may result in termination of support.

For behavioural cases, we may liaise with your veterinarian.

Group classes are suitable only for friendly dogs (except if its a reactive class) If unsure, clients must contact us before booking.

We do not offer “quick fixes.” Long-term results require consistent practice by the owner outside of sessions.

9. Health & Behaviour

Clients must disclose any relevant behavioural or health history.

We may cancel bookings if a dog is deemed unsuitable.

Clients are responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times.

Females in season may not be suitable for classes; please contact us before attending.

Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, flea, and worming.

Dogs with fleas, lice, ticks, or infectious illness may not attend.

Attending group classes carries some risk of disease transfer (e.g., kennel cough). By attending, clients accept this risk.

RUSKIES DOG TRAINING is not liable for accident, illness, injury, or death of a dog during services.

Dogs with a bite history must wear a muzzle when requested. Failure to comply may result in termination of services without refund.

If a stooge dog is used, clients must maintain safe distance and comply with safety instructions.

In emergencies, we will contact the owner. If unreachable, we will take appropriate action (e.g., veterinary care).

Clients are responsible for all veterinary/medical costs.

10. Payment, Bookings & Cancellations

Payment is required in advance via Stripe (cards, BACS, or PayPal through Stripe).

Cancellations must be made with at least 72 hours’ notice for 1-1 sessions and class bookings, and at least 14 days’ notice for Board and Train bookings. Cancellations made after these timeframes, as well as non-attendance, are non-refundable.

Refunds for cancellations with more than these timeframes are subject to a 10% admin fee.

No rollovers or refunds are offered for missed sessions or classes.

Membership sessions must be used within the time frame.

If we cannot access the dog for a Training Walk, no refund will be given.

Agreed instalments for packages must all be paid; outstanding balances remain due.

Late payments may incur interest and fees.

Services may be suspended for unpaid invoices.

Deposits (where taken) are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

11. Limitation of Liability

Clients are responsible for any costs or damage caused by their dog.

Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

RUSKIES DOG TRAINING shall not be liable for:

loss of profits, sales, or business

loss of contracts or goodwill

indirect or consequential losses

Force majeure: we are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control.

12. Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency, we will contact the Client immediately. If unreachable, we will take the dog to the nearest veterinarian or emergency centre at the Client’s expense.

13. General Legal Clauses

Entire Agreement: This agreement supersedes all prior discussions.

Variation: Changes must be in writing and accepted by RUSKIES DOG TRAINING.

Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not waive future rights.

Severance: Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder of the contract.

Notices: Must be sent by post, courier, or email (with read receipt).

Third Parties: No third party has rights to enforce this contract.

Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Jurisdiction: The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Warranty – 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

We are confident in the effectiveness of our 1-1 training programmes and offer a 30-day money back guarantee if you see no improvement in your dog’s behaviour.

To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

Only applicable for a 1-1 Training Session. Classes, Board and Train, walks and any other service does not qualify for the 30day warranty.

Client Commitment: You must follow the training plan provided and complete the required training steps consistently over the 30-day period.

Communication: You must maintain regular communication with your trainer and notify us of any challenges or setbacks you are experiencing during the training process.

Support Requests: You must allow us the opportunity to support and guide you through any struggles by responding to our advice or adjustments to the plan.

If, after fulfilling the above conditions, no noticeable changes in your dog’s behaviour have occurred, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the training start date.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email, including a summary of your training efforts and communication with the trainer.

Does Ruskies Dog Training have qualifications?

Yes, Laura takes her academic and practical training very serious. She has completed many courses including a Level 5 in Dog Training and Behaviour. Laura is also currently working towards being a clinical behaviourist.
