Bringing a puppy into your home is a big commitment. They may be part of your family for up to 14 years, so choosing the right breed and the right breeder is essential. Picking a puppy that isn’t the right fit can lead to stress for both you and the dog, and unfortunately many dogs end up in rescue centres simply because their owners didn’t realise the work involved.

Our mission is to help you find the ideal breed from a reputable, ethical breeder, giving you the best chance of raising a happy, well-adjusted dog—and helping reduce the number of dogs surrendered to rescue.

But it doesn’t stop at choosing the perfect puppy. Training is just as important, and Ruskies is here to support you with that too. We offer online coaching, in-person sessions, and residential training stays to suit every owner’s needs.

Sit, down, stay, leave it, drop, settle, recall, lead manners, no jumping up, socialisation, get them use to car rides, crate trained and potty training. Our training is bespoke, so we can train for your personal needs.

Does Ruskies Dog Training have qualifications?

Yes, Laura takes her academic and practical training very serious. She has completed many courses including a Level 5 in Dog Training and Behaviour. Laura is also currently working towards being a clinical behaviourist.
